Newly wedded woman reportedly burnt to death by jealous co-wife 7 weeks after her wedding

A beautiful newlywedded woman, Fatima, was reportedly burnt to death by her husband’s first wife in Minna.

According to viral reports, Fatima an indigene was allegedly burnt to death by her co-wife on Tuesday, March 23rd, exactly seven weeks after her wedding.

A member of the family in a chat with Katsina Post, revealed the two wives were not living in the same house. However, the first wife went to Fatima’s house to beat her to pulp.

After beating the new bride till she had no strength in her, the first wife allegedly locked her up inside the room and set it on fire, burning Fatima to death.

“They were not living in the same house but the first wife went to her house which is not far and beaten her to death before locking her room up and setting her ablaze”, the family source said.

The remains of the deceased will be buried today, March 24th, at the Sabuwar Unguwa residential area in Katsina metropolis, according to Islamic rites.
