NDC’S IPAC BOYCOTT FALLS FLAT IN THE FACE OF LOGICAL REASONING.

The prospect of the Electoral Commission compiling a new register later this year for future elections sends ripples of pain through the spines of the NDC and their acolytes.

The danger posed by COVID-19 and the effects it has on the world may lead to the 2020 elections being postponed till a later date next year.

These are the only logical explanations behind that farcical comedy that NDC and their mole acting as PNC’s chairman, Bernard Mornah displayed at yesterday’s IPAC meeting.

The IPAC meeting was to be held in two sessions following the call to practice social distancing in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. The Commission was taking steps to limit the number of people at each session and to do away with overcrowding.

One group was to be at the meeting at 10 o’clock in the morning and the other was to be there at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. This was a simple arrangement by the Commission to break the chain of the spread of COVID-19.

Peter Boamah-Otukonor, Bernard Mornah and the reps from their class were enraged, saying the EC was in to favor the NPP over the opposition party. They consequently left the premises without taking part in the meetings.

One wonders the sort of correlation between the preventive measures the EC is taking and helping a particular party to win elections.

When frustration creases your brows, you display a meltdown of some sort. Coronavirus is battling with us. The NDC should help in the fight and stop throwing needless tantrums over something that appeals to the senses of many a well-meaning citizen of the land .
