The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has revealed how Editor for Daily Dispatch newspaper Ben Ephson saved his life a few years ago and how NDC is planning to end Allotey Jacobs life.
In an interview on ‘Pae Mu Ka’ on Accra-based Kingdom FM 107.7, Mr. Agyapong said Ephson thwarted an attempt by certain individuals to kill him.
According to him, an informant had approached Ephson about a plot to kill to him, prompting the newspaper editor to report to the Inspector General of Police (IGP).
He added that, NDC as a party is full of evil which He had a lot of information that shows they are in attempt to Kill Allotey Jacobs.
“We get a lot of information from informants. One of them approached me and told me that some persons have plotted to assassinate Ken, and, so, I should do a story like that but I decided not to do that story. Instead, I informed the then-IGP, Mohammed Alhassan, about it. I did not even tell Kennedy himself about the issue because I knew how he was going to react to such news. So I handed over the informant to the IGP and left it there.
The matter later went to court and the police wanted to take credit for foiling such an assassination, but the informant told the court it wasn’t the police but that I foiled it. So to cut the story short, yes some people wanted to assassinate Kennedy Agyapong a few years ago. ‘’
Kennedy Agyapong further disclosed that, the intervention of Mohammed Alhassan,the then IGP helped matters as released convicts were hired by some politicians to kill him for reasons to date he is yet to be told.
