The National Youth Organizer for the New Patriotic Party, Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B has said the National Democratic Congress has no little sympathy left in them for riding on the tragic incidence at the Ejura as a political tool to undermine the peace Ghana has built for many years.
In a statement released to sympathise with the youth of Ejura over the reports of the alleged murder of Ibrahim Mohamed aka Kaaka and the two others who lost their lives in the course of the demonstration.
The Youth wing of the New Patriotic Party condemned in no certain terms the alleged mob attack that led to the death of Kaaka and the use of disproportionate forces against the protesting youths.
However, Nana B has expressed disappointment in the attitude of the National Democratic Congress for fueling the tragic incidence instead of empathising with the deceased families and putting in effort to ensure peace and democracy the country has enjoyed for the past 30years.
He said as a youth, it is our collective effort to denounce and condemn the statements by the National Democratic Congress which seek to rather weaken our strength as a nation in fighting atrocious acts
He added that, it’s the responsibility of the Ghanaian youth to take up the call for social justice in an appropriate manner which ensures that everyone is protected and support the peace process.
