NDC Accused Of Allegedly Stealing Former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s Manifesto

Abronye DC said in an interview that the NDC’s manifesto was written by former Nigerian Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who served under former President Olusegun Obasanjo from 1999 to 2007.

As a result, Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, has declared that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has no moral justification for rejecting the e-levy, which was contained in their 2020 platform.

He contends that the NDC administration “lacks comprehension” of electronic transactions and hence lacks the ability to investigate or condemn the projected 1.75 percent tax.

He blasted the other party’s leadership for failing to do their homework and not knowing what was in their own 2020 manifesto on Angel FM’s Morning Show.

He also told the host, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, that taxes are needed to construct countries, thus the NDC should not seek for development from the government if they oppose the e-levy.

He concluded by inviting Ghanaians to learn more about the government’s plans to use tax revenues to build quality roads and hospitals, among other development projects.
