Highlife musician Nana Yaw Kumi who performs under the stage name Kumi Guitar says naming top three rappers in Ghana without Obibini in the list makes it inaccurate.
He said his label mate is extremely talented and should make it to the top three top rapper’s list by hook or crook.
The Zylofon Media recording artist added Obibini possess the qualities of a good rapper and he deserves to be named among the best rappers in the country.
In his own words “Anybody who would do a ranking without Obibinii making it in the top three, do not know calculations or mathematics,” Kumi Guitar stated.
This comes a few weeks after Ghana’s finest disc jockey DJ Black released his Top 50 emcees list.
The list, saw Obrafour, Sarkodie, Okyeame Kwame, Reggie Rockstone, Lord Kenya, Kwadee, M.anifest, Blitz the Ambassador, Jayso and Flowking Stone take up the top ten spot respectively.
Sydney (Nananom), Jay Dee, Tic Tac (now TiC), Prodigal (VIP), Cy Lover, Amerado, Opanka, Pappy Kojo, Criss Waddle and D-Black make up the bottom 10 spots respectively.
It was greeted with a lot of mixed feelings with some suggesting, that some names ought not to be on the list or while others want the list rearranged
