NAM1’s plan was to help Ghanaians but the system didn’t allow him – Shatta Wale

Dancehall star Shatta Wale has written an emotional letter revealing how he has missed embattled Menzgold CEO Nana Appiah Mensah.

Shatta Wale has claimed that Nana Appiah Mensah popularly known as NAM1 came to the rescue of the music industry but the system fought against him.

Two years ago, NAM1 gate crashed the entertainment industry when he set up Zylofon Music.

The record label managed to secure the signatures of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, and many others. The label’s success was short-lived following government’s order to shutdown NAM1’s Menzgold.

Due to that Zylofon Music has not been functioning well, losing many of their top stars.

However, Shatta Wale, in expressing his sorrow took to his Instagram handle and penned down an emotional letter to NAM1 who is currently in Dubai fighting for the release of his locked up investment. According to the Ayoo hitmaker, NAM1 was the saviour of the music industry in Ghana. He also noted that, NAM1’s plan was to make Ghanaians happy but the system didn’t allow him.

It was previously reported how NAM1 took a strong swipe at the government. NAM1 expressed worry over how the government is treating him. According to NAM1, he is ready to sit down with the government regarding the Menzgold saga.
