Naked Picture: Deal with Rosemond Brown – Gender Ministry directs police

The Gender Ministry says it has taken notice of actress Akuapem Poloo’s naked photo posted on her Instagram page to celebrate her son’s birthday and is therefore taking the needed steps to deal with her.

According to the Ministry, the photo is a breach of Children’s Act 1998 and the Criminal and other offences (Act 30).

The Ministry through a statement condemned the action of the actress which they described as indecent exposure.

The Gender Ministry said it is working with the appropriate authorities to ensure that the issue is dealt with.

It minded the general public that posting of nudes on all social media platforms is an offence and therefore the public must desist from it.

Akuapem Poloo Tuesday posted a nude photo of herself and her son to celebrate his birthday and also to send a message to children to accept their parents however they are.

According to her, as an artiste, her post was an artistic expression of a message she wanted to send across.

She received public backlash after which she deleted the photo and apologised.
