Popular Ghanaian Controversial Actress, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur, Yvonne Nelson has asked the President of the land, H.E Nana Addo Dabkwa Akufo-Addo what his plans are for homeless people in Accra and other big cities facing the lockdown.
This comes on the back of the Police arresting a number of 30 head porters who were concealed in the bucket of a Kia headed for their hometown because they had nowhere to lodge during the lockdown period.
The ladies complained of not keeping safe and therefore had to join their families in the North to be assured of safety during these trying times.
Meanwhile, the Information Minister in an interview with Joy News mentioned that the Gender Ministry had undertaken research and was presenting its findings to the government so they can devise a way forward to help deal with homeless people during the lockdown period.
