Three persons have been arrested in connection with logging of rosewood inside the Mole National Park in the Savanna Region.
The three were arrested by the anti-poaching team of the park following a tipoff.
The suspects are in the custody of the Damongo divisional police command in the region.
The Mole National Park is the biggest National Park in West Africa that houses many species of wildlife.
There is a ban on rosewood logging in the Savanna Region.
A nine-member committee formed by the Savanna Regional Coordinating Council led by the Regional Minister has been tasked to find the causes of the logging and possible solutions to the problem.
