“Mike Ocquaye Is Too Weak And Cannot Even Walk To Parliament” – Aseidu Nketia

The General Secretary of the opposition NDC party, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said the Rt. Hon. Prof Aaron Mike Ocquaye is too weak to effectively perform his duties.
According to him, even though he commends President Nana Akufo Addo for honouring Rt. Hon. Mike Ocquaye for his dedicated service to the country over the years, his observation of the Speaker revealed that the latter lacks the physical strength needed to run that high office of the land.

Don’t forget, in a closely contested secret ballot in Parliament on Thursday for the position of Speaker of Parliament, Former MP for Nadowli Kaleo, Alban Sumana Bagbin of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was elected Speaker of the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

Polling 138 votes, Alban Bagbin won against his predecessor Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye who had 136 votes. One legislator failed to vote.
