A middle-aged man has joined his ancestors after his friend shot him twice in the chest over a GHC 5 debt he owed him.
Reports in the local media indicate that the deceased whose name is given as Ben operates a drinking spot owed Kwame Dankwa an amount of GHC 5.
Kwame Dankwa went to Ben to retrieve his money but Ben refused to pay the debt owed with the excuse he had not borrowed any money and a little fight ensued between the two pals.
Kwame Dankwa who according to reports is a hunter got infuriated by Ben’s conduct pulled a gun and shot Ben in the chest twice.
His action drew attention and before members of the community could apprehend him, he had bolted.
Ben was, however, rushed to the Tetteh Quarshie hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
