Make sure you don’t come begging for help in future – Shatta Wale slams Jackie Appiah

Self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr whose stage name is Shatta Wale has cautioned screen goddess, Jackie Appiah not to solicit for help in the future when she falls ill and has nothing to depend on as other older celebs have done in the past.

This is as a result of Jackie Appiah questioning why Shatta Wale asked for money before agreeing to become an ambassador for the COVID-19 sensitization campaign.

Speaking in an interview on TV3 a few days ago, Shatta Wale unveiled that he made the request not because he’s a money-conscious person but rather to send a message across to the government that celebrities are business persons with varied needs like any other persons have.

He further asserted that because most celebrities in Ghana have failed to see their craft as a business, they’ve not been able to save much and as such, they always beg during times of difficulties.

Shatta Wale disclosed that he’s been able to save a lot of money for any eventualities and will not be affected in case the COVID-19 disease persists for long but wondered if Jackie Appiah can as well brag of same.
