The family of the late Brigadier-General Martin Ahiaglo (Rtd.) on Wednesday, 30 October 2019 called on former President John Mahama to officially inform him of the funeral arrangements of their late relative.
The late General was a former Director-General of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and also a former General Officer Commanding (GOC), Southern Command.
Paying tribute to the late General, the former President described him as a good manager and disciplinarian, noting that those were attributes he brought to bear on the NLA.
“When I needed someone with strong discipline to take charge of the NLA, the choice, naturally, fell on him,” Mr Mahama said.
Among the delegation was Dzifa Gomashie, a former Deputy Minister under the Mahama administration and the late officer’s children.
Joining the former President to receive the family were Mr Julius Debrah, Mr Prosper Bani, Ms Joyce Bawah Mogtari and Mr Kenneth Adjei.
