The Member of Parliament for Klottey-Korle, Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, has distributed food items to inmates of police station cells within her constituency in the wake of the partial lockdown in the country.
The government, as part of measures to prevent further spread of COVID-19, restricted movement in Accra, Kumasi, Tema and Kasoa for two weeks.
It took effect from Monday, 30 March 2020.
The opposition MP distributing bread, porridge and bags of water to the inmates on Wednesday, 8 April.
She said it was to ensure that no one is left out during the partial lockdown.
The MP had previously donated food items to residents in her constituency to ease the inconvenience they were going through as a result of the partial lockdown of the country.
Ghana has so far recorded 313 COVID-19 cases with six deaths.
