Scammers are taking advantage of the online space to carry out their dubious acts. With the advancement of technology, buying and selling online is the order of the day now.
For this reason, most people who seek to buy new stuff look online for them.
Well, some dubious pages are creating fake pages on social media which they use to promote electronic products especially such as Laptops, Mobile phones, among other fancy gadgets.
They’re also known for selling home appliances, sofas etc.
They peck their prices very low and ask you to contact them via Whatsapp to strike a deal.
Normally, they’ll say they offer delivery services. But before they can get the product to you, you’ll have to do half-payment.
Once you finish paying the amount, they’ll block your number. A lot of people have fallen for this cheap scam.
