Akufo-Addo is doing much more for Ghana than Kwame Nkrumah did, according to Pius Enam Hadzide, CEO of the National Youth Authority (NYA).
The former deputy youth and sports minister claimed in an interview with Okay FM that while he respects and honors Kwame Nkrumah, Akufo-Addo is doing far more for Ghana.
“Kwame, do you know that in all of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah did not construct even one hospital? Not a single hospital exists in Ghana as a whole. He said that not even a simple clinic had been built by him.
So, what do we say to someone who is building 100 under Agenda 111, or if Kwame hasn’t told you about that? Kwame Nkrumah Tikesie, host of the Okay FM’s Morning show, was questioned.
In response to Nana Yaa Jantuah’s earlier interview on the same program about President Akufo-Addo’s plan to rename the University of Ghana after his uncle J.B. Danquah, Pius Hadzide called into the program.
According to Pius Hadzide, Nkrumah came to finish what others had started and was compensated for his efforts.
To support his claim, he noted that some of Kwame Nkrumah’s accomplishments are insignificant in light of what Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia are currently accomplishing.
