Kusi Boafo Calls For Cancellation Of Ex-Gratia

The Chief Executive Officer of the Public Sector Reforms, Kusi Boafo has proposed the cancellation of ex-gratia for parliamentarians and other political appointees.

Kusi Boafo explained that Ghana is in difficulties and everybody can attest to that.

Speaking on Wontumi TV Morning Show, he added that, people are no longer persuaded to contest for MP position.

Kusi Boafo stressed that ex-gratia forms part of the reasons institutions embark on strike.

According to him, the ex-gratia poses hardships on the MPs.

The Head of the Public Sector Reforms explained that during elections some people form fun clubs in the name of supporting the candidate and end up collecting money from him or her.
