Zylofon Music Label signee, Kumi Guitar has shared some feelings about his boss NAM1 and the current state of his record label plus his music now.
Matters regarding embattled businessman Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 are blurry as he still away in the UAE facing legal suit and dealing with allegations levelled against him over his financial company Menzgold.
NAM1 who is the Chief Executive Officer of Menzgold owns various businesses including media organizations like Zylofon Radio, Zylofon TV and Zylofon Music which houses most top musicians in Ghana such as Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Becca, Kumi Guitar, Obibini and Becca including movie stars like Zynell Zuh, Bibi Bright, Toosweet Annan, James Gardiner and Benedicta Gafah.
Although Kumi is still doing active music, he revealed that things have become quite difficult for him as an artist with the absence of record label boss.
Explaining his ordeal, the ‘Betweener’ hitmaker said that things that were easily accessed within hours when Nana Appiah Mensah was active at Zylofon Music are now taking weeks due to his absence.
According to the first signee under Zylofon Music Label, musically, it has had some negative consequences on him as he has to always answer questions regarding his boss and the state of the label and all related businesses owned by Nana Appiah Mensah.
Monitoring an interview he granted on Zylofon Tv, Kumi Guitar stated that during interview sessions to promote his music at various radio and television platforms, a chunk of the time is taken to discuss matters relating to his embattled CEO which leaves little time to talk about his musical works.
Though the former taxi driver lamented vehemently about his experience, he admitted that he cannot, however, detach himself from matters relating to his boss since he is a part of him and he will not relent in putting positive imagery about NAM1.
Kumi Guitar announced that he yet to release a banger in a few days to come for his fans worldwide.
