KAYAYE BUSES STOPPED AT THE ENTRANCE OF WALEWALE, AND PASSENGERS SCREEN AT WALEWALE HOSPITAL

As part of measures taken by the West Mamprusi Municipal Health Directorate to fight COVIC 19 in the mamprugu areas, the West Mamprusi Municipal Emergency Health Team, have created barriers around Nasia the main entrance to West. Mamprusi from the southern sector to screen all Kayaye’s and other travelers coming into the municipality after the lock up announcement by His Excellency the President two days ago.

So far about 27 buses with passengers over 400 had been screened with no serious causality identified. Also Walewale Senior High School had been prepared to quarantine potential victims who may show potential symptoms of the Virus. The MCE thanked the Municipal Health Directorates and the District Police Command for their support in this trying moment. Walewale is safe with no record of the Virus recorded and all potential virus tested negative.
