Local automobile manufacturer, Kantanka is readying itself to outdoor an all-powered solar vehicle.
Nana Kwadwo Safo who leads the company as the Chief Executive Officer made the disclosure in a tweet.
It is not clear when the company intends to launch the vehicle or when it will hit the market.
A video of the vehicle shared on Twitter by the CEO of Kantanka Group showed that the car is out of production and is at the stage of test drive.
The vehicle has solar it’s bonnet covered fully with solar panels which will power it.
According to Kwadwo Safo, the company is producing the vehicles to ease the pressure on buyers in these times of exorbitant fuel prices.

Fuel prices in Ghana have risen from GH¢6.5 a litre to GH¢16 per litre at some filling stations.
