JUST IN: Trailer kills driver’s mate at Gomoa Buduatta

A driver’s mate died Sunday morning in a gory accident at Gomoa Buduatta junction on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway in the Central region.

The deceased, according to reports was hanging on the moving Yutong bus when he accidentally got stuck to a parked trailer.

Winneba Municipal Fire Service Commander, D02 Sekyi Owusu confirmed this in an interview on Adom News.

He explained that, the trailer with registration number GN 7784-15 had parked at the Buduatta police check point when the driver of the Yutong bus with registration number GT 4092-17 run into it.

He said the mate died on the spot whiles the driver who was unconscious was rushed to the Winneba Trauma Hospital for medical attention.

Meanwhile, passengers that were onboard the Accra-bound Yutong bus were astounded after they witnessed the horrific accident but none was hurt.
