Former Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has reportedly signed a short-term contract with Ghana Premier League champions Hearts of Oak.
The 37-year-old, who is aiming to resurrect his career, has signed a one-year deal with the Phobians, with the option to extend it.
Muntari has been without a club after leaving Albacete in July 2019 following a brief stay with the Spanish club.
Once he passes his medical inspection, the UEFA Champions League winner will be named as the new player of the Rainbow club.
Muntari will compete in the second round of the Ghana Premier League when the next transfer window opens on February 1, 2022.
For several weeks, the former Inter Milan and AC Milan star has been training with Hearts and has impressed the club’s technical staff.
Muntari formerly played for Sunderland and Portsmouth FC, when he won the English FA Cup.
