According to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Asante Kotoko coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has resigned from his position.

Hours after an alleged meeting with the Board of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has resigned from his position as manager of the Ghanaian club.

The Porcupine Warriors have hired the former WAFA coach ahead of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League as Mariano Barreto’s successor.

When Asante Kotoko upset rivals Accra Hearts of Oak to win the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League, the 44-year-old manager was crowned champion.

In the wake of Prosper Narteh Ogum’s departure, the Asante Kotoko faithful are still waiting for formal confirmation and an explanation for why their coach resigned.
