Actor, entrepreneur, politician and aspiring Parliamentary candidate of the NDC, John Dumelo has been spotted cleaning up gutters in his community.
The actor-turned-politician was part of a clean-up exercise organized to clean some gutters in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency as part of efforts to keep the environment clean.
The Politician is also using the opportunity to be visible in the constituency towards the general election in 2020 in anticipation of a win in the upcoming NDC Parliamentary Primaries.
John Dumelo filed his nomination when the party opened the way, although it was expected as he had earlier declared his intention to contest in the controversial by-election of January following the seat becoming vacant after the death of the former member of parliament for the constituency, Late Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko, but he later pulled out.
John is widely expected to edge all the other aspirants to lead the NDC into the 2020 Parliamentary elections but will face a stiff challenge from the NPP counterpart since the seat has been won by the NPP for the major part of the 4th republic.
