The third Witness for the petitioner in the 2020 election petition Robert Mettle Nonoo has said that he was sacked from the Electoral Commission’s strong room.
According to him, he was sacked on the dawn of December 9 at exactly 2:00 am at dawn and has to drive to Tema where he resides.
He said he had to drive back to the EC’s strong room as a representative of a candidate through traffic before getting to the EC Headquarters.
“I was sacked at 2am from the EC strongroom on the 9th. I had to drive to Tema where I reside. So in the morning, I drove through the thick traffic from Tema back to the EC office to seek audience,” he said in court.
He indicated that unlike Afar Gyan, Jean Mensah did not give any opportunity for errors they noted to be amended.
“Dr Afari Gyan gave opportunity for errors to be corrected,” he said during cross examination.
