Japan has been known to be the country filled with some very ‘special’ things. But one thing that they are very prominent for (regardless if they admit it or not) is porn.
And even in the porn section, they have some pretty weird stuffs going on. They are the ones who created tentacle porn, after all.
Anyways, the porn industry is big worldwide but Japan seems to have a shortage on male porn stars!
The Japanese ‘King of Porn’, Shimiken tweeted about the lack of men in the porn industry over there and expressed his hope that more guys will join this industry.
He wrote,
“In this industry, there are 70 male porn stars to 10,000 women. The number of male porn stars in Japan is lesser than Bengal tigers.
With 4,000 new films every month, the number of male actors simply isn’t enough. This industry is like a hole in the wall that needs to get bigger!”
Of course, Shimiken shared this information so that more men can join this industry.
Shimiken, whose real name is Shimizu Ken, started his career in the AV industry in late 1998. By mid 2002, he has acted in 1,200 adult movies!
In an interview with Details Magazine, Shimiken has apparently acted with over 7,500 ladies. Some of them include Maya Gold, Chihiro Hara, Yue Aida, Mariko Kanawa.
He’s even done some rather homosexual scenes with Yoshiya Minami too!
