Award-winning Ghanaian actress and film producer, Yvonne Nelson in an interview on Accra-based Kingdom FM, has described her colleague actress, Jackie Appiah as a wonderful person despite not being close friends with her.
According to the award-winning actress, though they are not close buddies to be calling each other every day, she can however comment about Jackie Appiah’s personality because she is a celebrity.
“We are not buddies who will call each other or hang out but Jackie is a celebrity, and so far as the work is concerned, she is a very great lady”, she said.
This comes on the back of a recent social media rant by Ghanaian dancehall act, Shatta Wale after he made a disparaging remark about the actress following an earlier comment Jackie Appiah supposedly passed about him during the first outbreak of Covid-19 in Ghana.
Shatta Wale who was embittered by the actress’s comment questioned how the actress made her money as he could not phantom how Jackie Appiah travels across the globe every time with the money she receives from acting whiles her colleague actresses are finding it difficult to make ends meet.
