The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye, can be seen complaining in a viral video about how President Akufo-Addo has lost his strength and isn’t living up to expectations, in contrast to his reputation as a strong man.
Abronye, who recently received an MSC in Energy Economics from GIMPA, is well known for saying that President Akufo-Addo was once a contender, but he is now a different person.
“Those who claim that this man is not who they know are correct. What is going on? Personally, I concur with what has been said. The Akufo-Addo we know is not this. No. He is not the one. In a now-viral Wontumi TV interview, he said.
It’s unclear whether the appearance in the video is recent or old.
The Regional Chairman expressed his shock at the President’s most recent public portrayal as a soft man.
Therefore, he is recommending the President to resume using his old “no-nonsense” strategy to deal with obstinate government officials who are making the government unpopular.
