In the late hours of yesterday, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale, announced his retirement from the music industry.
The SM fans were shocked and disappointed with the announcement because their king was about to take a bow, and they were going to miss his music and everything about him.
In his announcement, Shatta Wale stated that he was retiring because he had other businesses he wanted to focus on, hence making that decision.
In a recent interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm, he revealed that the timing of his announcement made it appear to be an April Fool’s joke, but he has since clarified that this is not the case.
