I’m Happy ‘Unfair’ Otto Addo Is Gone, He had No Good Justification For Dumping Me – Joseph Paintsil

Joseph Paintsil of Genk says he is relieved Otto Addo has stepped down as Ghana’s head coach.

The 24-year-old feels that the Borussia Dortmund assistant coach acted unfairly when he left him out of Ghana’s final World Cup roster.

Prior to the World Cup, Paintsil was one of Ghana’s best players in Europe, but he was left off the final roster, which has generated some criticism.

Paintsil reportedly told the Belgian newspaper Belang van Limburg that “His decision was unfair.”

“He didn’t provide me with a good excuse for my absence. I spoke with him over the phone and said the same thing. He informed me that there were players in the hierarchy above me.

Men who play in the Jupiler Pro League, like me, were among them. Despite the fact that their stats were different, Addo claimed that football isn’t just about goals and assists.

On leaving, he remarked, “I’m glad about it. He denied me the chance to showcase myself to the world during the World Cup. I’m currently eagerly anticipating the announcement of the next national coach.

because I’ll be accessible for the national team at all times. I’m hoping he keeps shooting on the ground like he does from behind a microphone.
