Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo has threatened to campaign against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2020 if he does not deal with corrupt public officials under the erstwhile NDC administration.
Kusi Boafo who was speaking in an interview with Kessben TV’s Omanhene alleged that officials under the Mahama-led administration, including the former President, robbed the country of huge sums of money and deserve to be punished for that.
According to him, the former President and his Chief of Staff sold over 300 state vehicles acquired for about $165,000 each for as low as $2,500 to some individuals and the companies which initially sold them to the state.
Kusi Boafo noted that even though there is the perfect opportunity for the NPP to also make money as they are in power, they will not because government will not tolerate such corrupt acts.
He urged President Akufo-Addo to ensure that all the culprits of what he described as a grand scheme are jailed for their crimes.
