Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has been advised to ignore Sammy Gyamfi since “he is rubbish”.
This advice was sent out by a private legal practitioner and media personality, Lawyer Maurice Ampaw on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.
According to the seasoned law practitioner, it would be a total waste of time for the law maker to respond to the National Democratic Congress’ Communication Officer.
In his view, Sammy Gyamfi has brought shame to the legal profession and does not deserve an attention from Hon. Kennedy Agyapong.
Sammy Gyamfi has filed a criminal complaint against the Hon. Kennedy Agyapong
His action follows alleged threats he claims Kennedy Agyapong issued on an Accra based radio station.
In the suit, Sammy Gyamfi alleged that Kennedy Agyapong had threatened to cause him harm or death through thugs under his control and direction.
But Lawyer Maurice Ampaw challenged his suit stating that it was never the case that he was threatened by Kennedy Agyapong.
He simply told the legislator that “ignore Sammy Gyamfi, he is rubbish”.
On the same platform, he accused Sammy Gyamfi and Kelvin Taylor of influencing the new wave of seeing SHS students insulting people in higher authority on social media.
Lawyer Maurice Ampaw claims anytime Sammy Gyamfi, gets an opportunity to address the press, he only turn out to insult.
He also stated on the Wontumi Morning Show that Kelvin Taylor uses his social media handle to insult people and their behavior has had a devastating effect on the SHS students who watch them.
He described the two as bad influencers in Ghana’s society and urged children of school going age not to emulate them.
A group of students from the Tweneboah Kodua Senior High School and other candidates of Senior High Schools challenged the invigilators and school authorities of their schools for being too strict on them during invigilation making it difficult for them to copy.
Some of the students were seen hurling insults at the president.
But Lawyer Maurice Ampaw commented that “Sammy Gyamfi and Kelvin Talyor have created a culture for the secondary school boys to learn. Each time they hold a press conference, they insult so the student have learnt from them.”
