General manager of Angel TV and winner of 2011 Ghana’s Most Beautiful pageant Sally Akua Amoakowaa Mensah popularly known as Akua GMB has waded into Prophet Badu Kobi ethnocentric comments against women.
The former beauty queen rubbished the man of God’s claim that Ashanti women are greedy, opportunists and disrespectful towards their husbands.
According to Akua GMB, Ashanti women are hardworking and very supportive of their husbands.
Akua who is also the fourth wife of the CEO of the Angel Group of Companies, Dr. Kwaku Oteng further stated that any man who wants to achieve his vision and goals in life must marry an Ashanti Woman.
“Ashanti women are money conscious and that makes us very hardworking. We support our husbands and also strive to make our own money”, the former beauty queen opined.
Akua GMB was reacting to the comments made by the founder and leader of Glorious Wave Church International that Ashanti women are greedy, opportunists and disrespectful whereas Fante women are fools and Ewe women are doormats.
Prophet Badu Kobi made this statement when he was addressing his congregation and this comment has received massive criticisms from the general public.
Some Ghanaians have asked the man of God to retract his statement and render an unqualified apology to women but the man of God stood his grounds and justified his comments.
