If E-Levy Is A Bad Policy Allow Us Pass It And Suffer The Brunt – Majority Chief Whip

Majority Chief Whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh has issued a challenge to his Minority colleagues to let the E-levy pass or face the consequences. “If the much-discussed E-Levy (Electronic Transfer Bill) is a harmful policy, as the Minority has said, Ghanaians should let it pass and suffer the consequences.”

“Ask them, if they care more about the Ghanaian people and want to come to power, instead of helping us pass the Electronic Transfer Bill 2021 and riding the political tide against us, they should rather help us pass the Electronic Transfer Bill 2021 and ride the political tide against us.”

In an interview, he went on to say that the Minority is aware that the E-Levy will benefit them, and that the massive revenue that will be generated will be a game changer, changing the narrative.

“The bottom line is that we, as a majority, should get our house in order; the cue is apparent to us; we have taken our lessons from what has happened in recent weeks; we just need to put our home together and get our business done.”
