The temptation to do a campaign song or endorse a political party is on the rise among celebrities as Samini and Sarkodie recently released their songs for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
However, famous female celebrity and television icon, Emelia Brobbey has disclosed to Amansan Krakye that she’s not ready to join the political bandwagon.
She revealed in an exclusive interview on the Kastle Entertainment Show that she’s not into politics at the moment so she won’t endorse any political party.
Emelia Brobbey revealed that she’s currently busy with her enormous work schedules so she would concentrate on entertaining her fans rather than engage in partisanship.
She remarked “Not yet, not at the moment, not at all I’m not into politics. No not at all. Please no I won’t accept to contest as a Member of Parliament.
“Because already my works are plenty. Just allow me to entertain Ghanaians whilst those who are into politics also do theirs,” she told Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM.
Emelia Brobbey won Best Gallywood Actress and Best Philanthropist at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018.
She also won the 2019 Best Actor Female indigenous at the ZAFAA Global Award which was presented by the African Film Academy Awards.
