MAG TWINS EAGLE FOUNDATION is a Non Governmental Organization(NGO) located in Kumasi, Ashanti regional capital has cleared the air that, she can control waste in Ghana in 3 years time.
She started this sanitation cognizance at Lorry stations because, a lot of peeps come there to pick vehicles to their destination and the first town In Ashanti region was konongo.
In a media deliberation with Madam Patricia kwarteng, the president for the NGO, she propose that, their aim is for fighting sanitation is simple because, they are not going to work like the way zoomlion is working.
I stayed in Austria so many years and I’ve implement the way they does in Ghana here and its working. ZOOMLION sweepers sweeps once a day but we for Us MaG TWINS EAGLE FOUNDATION, we sweeps every two hours. So with that, even if someone sees that , there are people on the street sweeping to keep the environment clean, it won’t be possible for someone to drop a rubber or other substance on the ground. She added .
As I came to Kumasi, I presented a letter to KMA Evironmental director, Mr Isaac that they should hive me an approval so that my i will prove to them my method of handling sanitation but he rejected my offer.
He then asked me to go and tidy up KEJETIA and I asked him to inform the trotro drivers to move out from there and he told me KMA gets money from the trotro drivers so if she has no option, the she should stop.
ALSO, konongo MCE also refuse to give her approval and she left to Kumasi and presented a letter to Kwadaso MCE that she will like to come tidy up sofoline and there, she has been accepted by both MCE and SOFOLINE DRIVERS UNION.
I will like govt to Patner this organization so that, those that are saying there’s no work in the country and they are sitting home idle, this is an opportunity for them.
WE sweeps from 5 am and close at 6:30pm , so from 5 am, we sweeps again at 7am, then 9am , 11 am, 1 pm, 3pm ,5pm then 6:30pm.
