Popular Ghanaian Actor, John Dumelo has hinted that he will form a political party soon.
He made this revelation when commenting on the recent controversy that has arisen from his open campaign for President John Dramani Mahama.
John Dumelo has been in the news for openly campaigning for President John Dramani Mahama at Hohoe in the Volta Region after he participated in a health walk organized by NDC dubbed, ‘Walk for JM’.
He also made headlines when he disclosed that he has a presidential ambition. This has led to rumours that he may seek to contest on the ticket of the NDC in some years to come.
However, he told Adom News’ Araba Aggrey that he would love to form his own political party in future.
“I will love to have my own political party…,” and I will prefer to name it after Adom FM,” he added jokingly.
He also explained that his presidential bid is a long ambition contrary to claims by some critics that he may be contesting anytime soon.
“It is true that I said that I want to be president but it will not be latest than 2032, but even with that I still thinking about it”, the award-winning actor noted.
