Ghanaian comic actor and musician Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has expressed disappointments in the current debates in parliament and on social media.
In an interview on Ultimate Branch 106.9 with host Sarah Brefo, Lilwin registered his displeasure about the current happenings. According to Liwin, the argument on Ghana’s stance on other sexual orientations is a misplaced priority.
When asked his opinion on the current debate of LGBTQI, the actor stated that he was not interested in the discussion on the LGBT debate. He also stated that he will only talk about LGBT if government fixes the roads to his hometown, other major roads in the country and also create jobs for the youth to do.
“I will only look for an opinion on LGBTTQI or whatever they call it if the roads to my hometown Meduma Atimatim is fixed; if Kumasi-Accra road is dualized if Atonsu road is tarred,” he said.
Lilwin added that he will not lose sleep over the discussions on LGBTQ but until he sees that the government has created jobs in the country to end the hardship and unemployment, he would keep hammering on it.
“If I see that there are an abundance of jobs for every youth in Ghana and stealing and crime have abated, it’s only then that I will speak about the LGBTQI,” Lil Win noted.
