I was ready to sell all my belongings and die in place of my son – Bernard Nyarko’s mum

Mother of late Kumawood Star, Bishop Bernard Nyarko has revealed that she was prepared to do everything within her power to ensure that her son stays alive.

Maame Yaa Konadu stated that she had done everything humanly possible including visiting some powerful men of God just to get her son to regain his strength and bounce back.

She however observed that all these efforts ended in pain following his death at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital some weeks ago.

Speaking in an interview recently monitored by MyNewsGh, Maame Yaa Konadu also revealed that she returned to Ghana from her base just to cater for her son but as fate will have it, he exited the world painfully.

“He was my pride and I felt proud people referred to me as the mother of a star. I came down to take care of him when news got to me that he was sick and bed-ridden. I took him to many places with hope for his recovery but my hopes were never met. I was prepared to sell all my property including my houses for him to survive but that was not the case,” a teary mother sobbed.

“Prior to his death he had lost considerable weight and was weak. He directed that I should not allow anyone to visit until such a time he recovered and felt better. This was so because he did not want his colleagues to come to take images of him and post on social media”, Maame Yaa Konadu revealed.
