I Wanted To Become A Lawyer – Shatta Wale

Chief Executive Officer of Shatta Movement (SM), Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior popularly known as Shatta Wale has disclosed the career he aimed for when growing up.

In an exclusive interview with 3FM, the “Kakai” hitmaker said he earlier wanted to read law and become a lawyer but things didn’t go through as planned hence switching to music.

In his assertion, he said his father also wanted to become a lawyer but he eventually changed his thought and mindset.

After school, I wanted to be a lawyer…My dad also wanted me to be a lawyer. After school, I told him I want to do music for about two years, when I started as Bandana, I realised that it was not going well. I was not getting money from shows and my record labeltoo was bad. So I took some time to rebrand and come again,” Shatta Wale added.
