John Mahama’s brother, Alfred Mahama, used to be fed by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako.
“I used to feed Alfred Mahama”, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi emphatically state on the Wontumi Morning show.
He was surprised the brother of the former President, Mr. Alfred Mahama could bad mouth him at the least opportunity he gets when he has fed him before.
“You didn’t have a car when your brother was President. I used to feed you. I have fed you before and you want to talk bad about me?”, Chairman Wontumi said.

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party has sounded a serious word of caution to Ibrahim Mahama for him to stop misbehaving.
Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has always been a thorn in the flesh of Ibrahim Mahama and his brother former President John Mahama for speaking the truth about them.
For this reason, John Mahama and his brother Ibrahim Mahama have always deployed a tactic to pay media men to splash any move they make in court on the media space to make them look good in the eyes of the public.
But Chairman Wontumi has told them specifically Ibrahim Mahama to stop misbehaving and better behave.
“You better behave”, Chairman Wontumi said on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com.
As far back as 2015, Ibrahim Mahama deployed the same strategy because his brother was President but failed when he went to court.
The younger brother of John Mahama had demanded GH¢5 million from the respected Chairman of the New Patriotic Party but ended with nothing because his lawyers failed to establish that Chairman Wontumi had wrong their client in court.
In 2015, Chairman Wontumi, stated emphatically that he would not apologize to Ibrahim Mahama in order for him to drop a defamatory case filed against him.
The NPP Chairman, who has demonstrated overtime that he can match John Mahama and his brother boot for boot, insisted at the time that he is ever prepared to battle Ibrahim in court until the case gets to its logical conclusion, stressing that he is not backing off from it.
That year, Ibrahim Mahama, sued Wontumi for a staggering GH¢5 million because he claims the NPP regional chairman had defamed him and President Mahama at a public gathering in Obuasi in 2014.
When things became very difficult for Ibrahim Mahama’s lawyer Charles Zwennes, he changed the narrative stresseing that his client is not interested in the money but rather he just wanted an apology from Chairman Wontumi.
Lawyer Egbert Faibille represented Chairman Wontumi and made it clear that his client would never apologize to Ibrahim because there was nothing to show he has erred.
“The court has not determined that Wontumi has defamed Mr. Ibrahim as the complainant is claiming. Parties in a case pending before court cannot elect and put their own interpretations into cases,” Lawyer Faibille said.
