Popular Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has revealed that some Ghanaian students in China are distressed over the Coronavirus epidemic in the country and has reached out to him to help them return to their motherland.
The NDC’s parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency made this revelation on his Twitter page.
According to the John, students from other countries have evacuated from China to their various and the Ghanaian students also want to follow suit.
John Dumelo called on all authorities concerned in this issue to come to the aid of the stranded students.
“I have received dozens of messages from distressed students in Wuhan(China) in the last few days. They need to be evacuated, other countries have evacuated their Students and these Ghanaian students are “stranded”. I hope the Ghanaian authorities help them out ASAP. #dumelogives,” – John Dumelo tweeted.
