US-based Ghanaian filmmaker, Leila Djansi has revealed that, she has ceased talking to John Dumelo after he entered into Politics.
Speaking with Lexisbill on Joy FM, Leila stated that John Dumelo who has been her all-time favorite Ghanaian male actor didn’t choose the right path because he will soon become corrupt just like the others.
“they will corrupt him and soon he will be like them. He cannot remain the same for long” she said.
The producer also noted that the Ghana movie industry is not dead and can go far in the global movie industry if we are ready to do what it takes, including all stakeholders playing their role.
She mentioned one incident where Yvvone Okoro failed to come to the United States to meet Movie Prouders who had an interest in her adding that these opportunities may appear small but can catapult Ghana unto the global scene.
Leila is in town organizing an industry conference to bring players together.
