The president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, has come under criticisms over the reunion of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy after years of ‘beefing’.
Late yesterday, some fans of Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy jubilate because It was revealed here on that site that I was by the efort of Nana Aba Anamoah that the peace had been brokered through her efforts and that of Kofi Amoa-Abban, the CEO of Rigworld Limited, an Oil and Gas industry giant.
Posting the same photo of them sitting together, the two sounded like they were cool now and and ready to leave the past behind them.
In line with that, Obour took to social media to praise the peacemakers, Amoa-Abban and Nana Aba Anamoah for bring the peace.
Sharing a photo of the Rigworld boss on Instagram, Obour wrote: “Piaaaaawwwww. Doc…you do all. “ The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does the greatest things but the one who also finds time to do the needful for others”. Dr Kofi Amoa Abban, my respect for you as a brother have gone another ladder higher. Our music industry will forever be grateful for this historic smoking of Peace @stonebwoyb and @shattawalenima I doff my hat for you Sir and @thenanaaba Thank you for doing this for us all. Let Peace and Unity remain among brothers.”
While Obour’s comment may have come off as a cool one, some social media users have lambasted him for speaking up.
For many of them, it was the responsibility of Obour and MUSIGA to unite the two and so he was failure on his part to have sat down to make somebody else do the work.
