I Don’t Need Politics To Survive – Alan Kyerematen To Ghanaians

Former Trade and Industry Minister and New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate John Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen claims he is not in politics for the money because he does not depend on it for survival.

Mr. Alan Kyerematen added that all of the contributions he has given to the party have been made with a pure heart because he and other wealthy young people joined the party because they believed in it and not to fill their wallets with cash.

The NPP Young Executives Forum made sure to perform our duties when we returned to politics. We businessmen, experts in the private sector, and pardon me for saying so, don’t need politicians to live. But we adhered to the NPP’s concept. We committed ourselves to working hard and standing for our leaders. I therefore served as the organization’s Chairman (Young Executives Forum). In an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen disclosed.

Mr. Alan Kyerematen went on to say that he is running to be the party’s flagbearer since he has long served the organization well.

He said to Kwame Tank, the host of the program where he was interviewed, “It is true when I say that, I started this long ago.

Approximately five members of the governing NPP, including the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, the former Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, the former Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and the former General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong, will compete for the position of flagbearer.

Numerous people have also suggested Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the job, although he has not yet made his intentions clear.
