Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe also known as Abronye DC has touted the flagbearer of the National Democratic Party (NDC) saying that he, Abronye, is more popular than the flagbearer.
The Regional Chairman was speaking in relation to comparisons made by the general public between the former President, John Dramani Mahama, and the current President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him there was no need to compare and the two (2) and that any attempt to do so would be a mismatch since even he, Abronye, is more popular than the Former President.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Hello FM, monitored by My News Ghana, The Regional Chairman said;
“Bono region is superb because of President Akufo-Addo. I am the Chairman of Bono region and I can tell you that the NDC presidential candidate cannot pull more support than me. I throw that challenge, just for the two of us to go on tour, I can tell you that I will pull more crowd than John Mahama.”
He however expressed unwavering hope that come December 2020, Ghanaians will troupe massively to vote to keep the New Patriotic (NPP) in power.
