Nigerian Estate developer and social media influencer Raymond Abass aka Hushpupi who was convicted in 2020 for multiple charges of fraud and email compromise shocks the entire continent once again.
News Today suggests that Raymond Abass through accessing the Internet cafe in the prison cell he’s been remanded in succeeded in using stolen credit cards to buy several several iPhone 13, PS5, iPads and MacBooks for resale under the nose of FBI.
Many have taken to their social media pages to register their shock and disbelief as to how he was able to achieve such difficult task under the tight watch of the federal bureau of investigation. Documents and statements released from the FBI website claimed he requested internet access on the 13th of March which is a civic human right privilege given to any inmate under the custody of the FBI.
Monitoring his activities, the FBI noticed he purchased stolen credit cards from blackmarket websites which he used in perpetrated this new fraud. It is believed that he had frequently requested to access the internet so many times in his California prison. Staff of the prison felt worried about his constant access to the internet since his charges were all based on internet fraud and email compromises.
They alerted the FBI who attained a warrant to monitor his internet activities which led to the gaining knowledge on his malicious activities while in police custody. Could it be that Raymond Abass is addicted to these fraudulent practices since it baffles on mind as to how one man with numerous charges will still continue with his crimes under custody of the law.
