HON. TELARBI CUT SOD FOR CHIPS COMPOUND IN ASITEY 

 

 

The people of Asitey in the Lower Manya Municipal in the Eastern Region will soon get a Community based Health Planning and Service (CHIPS) Center after served appeals.

Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi member of Parliament for Lower Manya Constituency has cut sod for the contribution of CHIPS COMPOUND with Nurses Quarters to be built in the Asitey Community.

 

According to the MP, the project is expected to be completed in five (5) months and also changed AB – ZIKO Limited Engineering contractor to work within stipulated time.

Mr. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi also added that it is very important to build a health center and for that matter it will help improve health delivery in the area. He urged members of the Community to get on board to ensure it’s sustainability.

Nananom in the area Commended the MP for his kind gesture and assured him of the community commitment to make sure that the project becomes a success.

 

Hon. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi has also donated text books and supported public and private Junior High School Students with teaching and learning materials.

MP donated cock crow answering books to third year students to aid them in conducting their class assignment.

He hinted that the support is from part of his share of MP’s common fund and said supporting basic education was part of his priorities to improve on basic education in the Constituency.

MP stated that as part of efforts to improve on basic education in the area, he planned to institute best BECE performed school and best Students awards scheme to award deserving School and pupils.
