Ghanaian brand influencer and content creator, Bernard Kwadwo Amoafo popularly as Content Nyame aka Lil Duku has fumed at the organizers of Ghana’s annual music awards for ignoring rapper Kojo Cue‘s ‘For My Brothers‘ Album.
According to the new brand ambassador for DSTV Ghana, he doesn’t understand why Kojo Cue’s album which came with unparalleled content bothering on depression, finance, etc amongst many social narratives most artistes in this country do not bother writing songs about.
”I have a problem, the system in this country is institutionalized to stifle creativity and its mind-busting analytics. How are we going explain to our children in the future why that album was brushed aside?!” Sheldon quizzed.
The die-hard fan of Manchester United FC could not wrap his head around the fact that musically inclined people in the industry will sit down and graciously push the amazing body of work by Kojo cue into the gutter and nominate songs that people can only dance to and do nothing else with them.

Apparently, snubbing of great content by VGMA has become a normal thing. It can be recalled that No Where Cool by Africa’s foremost rapper, M.anifestwhich was obviously the best rap album in 2017 won nothing. Onipa Akoma by Akan was the best rap album that year it was not even nominated. And now ‘For My Brothers’ which is the best rap album currently is also ignored.
It looks like those in charge are strongly against creative rappers, people who are worshiped in civilized part of this world.
Kwadwo Sheldon who was awarded the Content Creator of the Year at the recent National Communications Awards 2019 held at the Ecobank Head Office in Ridge, Accra. ended his rants by mobilizing support from good music aficionados in Ghana to continue patronizing the album by streaming it every day to give good music the chance to grow in this country.
